None. By using only 100% botanical ingredients, our product remains gentle to the hair and scalp, naturally. However, please read the label to determine if there are any ingredients you are allergic to prior to use.

The products in the Curl House Collection are naturally scented and free of artificial fragrances. The botanicals and essentials oils give off a natural fragrance and aroma that most people find relaxing and enjoyable.

These products are formulated with unique botanicals specially designed to maximize hair growth, grow thicker and stronger hair, to balance the scalp for optimal sebum production, hydrate and nourish the scalp with humectants, anti-oxidants, minerals and vitamins because healthy hair cannot grow from a malnourished and dehydrated scalp.

Due to the nature of its natural ingredients, the shelf life is 12 – 18 months, but we encourage use within one year.

Yes. These products contain peppermint essential oil which has a cooling effect on the scalp because of its antiseptic, regeneration and stimulating properties. It helps to relieve scalp irritations like dryness and dandruff. The tingling or stimulating effect of peppermint essential oil increases blood circulation to the scalp creating a healthier environment for hair growth.

Yes. Our formula can be used by both men and women.

Our drops rely on a base of water to deliver the nutrients without clogging the pores with excess oils. The drops are light and penetrating enough to be suitable for daily use without creating buildup.

Our formula is a topical treatment that is applied to the scalp once or twice a day. Be sure to apply to hair loss, inflamed, and/or dry and itchy areas. DO NOT RINSE. We recommend you apply after shampooing your hair as the drops are able to best penetrate on a clean scalp. For daily application, we suggest that you apply our product at night as the optimal time for cell regeneration is during sleep. The drops contain no alcohol or oil so it will not dry out the scalp or leave a greasy residue or buildup.

Yes, oftentimes once hair follicles have been properly nourished, hair that has been lost will grow back. However, if you are experiencing extreme hair loss, we recommend you see a dermatologist or trichologist.

All types of textures can use the Follicle Stimulating Growth Drops as they rely on a base of water to deliver the nutrients without clogging the pores with excess oils. The drops feel light and penetrating enough to be suitable for daily use without creating buildup. The Follicle Stimulating Growth Shampoo and Conditioner and the Hair Nourishing Leave-In Conditioner are designed for those with curly, tightly coiled textured hair as these products are formulated with heavy emollients, humectants and oils to provide maximum moisture and may be too heavy for straighter textured hair. The Follicle Nourishing Growth Tea can be enjoyed by all.

It is not necessary to continue using the Follicle Stimulating Growth Drops once you've achieved the desired results. However, some of our clients continue using the product once a week or bi-weekly for maintenance purposes. We also recommend that you use the drops in conjunction with an overall healthy lifestyle, as most hair and scalp maladies are rooted in or exacerbated by nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, medications, and stress-related conditions.

Most of our clients experience positive results within 4-8 weeks of consistent product use. However, results may vary based on a number of factors, such as age, health, genetic predisposition, severity of scalp dryness, frequency of product usage, and/or the root cause of an individual’s hair loss. For best results, we strongly recommend consistent product use for 3-6 months. If you are experiencing severe hair loss, or excessive dry, itchy, or flaky scalp, we encourage you to also consult with a dermatologist or trichologist.

Hair loss can occur for many reasons such as genetics, nutritional deficiencies, poor blood circulation of the scalp, medication, stress, improper hair styling practices, and other underlying medical conditions. There are some types of alopecia (hair loss) that may lead to permanent hair loss if not addressed early on. Once the hair follicle is no longer viable (or scarred), hair will not regrow. We recommend that if you are experiencing extreme hair loss or scalp conditions, see a dermatologist or trichologist. Advanced treatment may be needed for more progressive forms of hair loss.

Only orders shipped to a Virginia address are subject to a 6% state tax. Per Virginia State law sales tax must be computed on the subtotal of items plus the shipping cost. We do not collect sales tax from any other state at this time.

Due to the nature of our products, all hair product sales are nonrefundable and considered final once shipped. If you wish to cancel your order prior to shipment, please send us an email at info@curlhouse.com. We do not offer refunds on hair products as there is no way to verify that the product was not used upon receipt. In the event that we sent you the wrong item, your item is missing from your package, or damaged please email us at info@curlhouse.com within 72 hours and we will resolve the issue once verified.

At this time, all orders are processed and shipped within 7 days of ordering.

If your products arrive damaged, please email pictures of the box and products as received, and we will ship replacement products at no charge to you.

If you have not received your package within two weeks of placing your order, please call us at 804.366.1299 or email to info@curlhouse.com and we will investigate your order’s tracking information.

If you provide the wrong address for a shipment, please notify us within 24 hours with your account number and the correct shipping address. We will review your account and revise the delivery address.

Yes. You will receive an email tracking notification when your order has shipped.

If tracking information confirms that the item has been delivered to the shipping address for your order but you have not received your products, please contact the carrier directly in order to investigate this issue. We cannot be held accountable for packages where tracking information states the package has been delivered to your shipping address.

After over 10 years of operation, Curl House Natural Hair Salon has closed its doors and now continues exclusively as a hair care brand.

Our customer service hours are Monday – Friday from 10am to 2pm. All calls received after these hours will be returned the following business day.

We offer product subscriptions as a monthly recurring service. Customers may cancel their subscription at any time from their account page. You will not receive the next shipment once your subscription has been canceled.
